Architecture
The deity Takeminakata-no-Mikoto is enshrined here. The Engi-Shiki contains a name that is believed to refer to this shrine. It is thought to have been built in 851, but the details are not known. It was called Suwa Shrine during the medieval and early modern periods. The worship hall burnt down a few years ago, and a temporary worship hall is currently in place.
