Gakuden Oiwake
Transportation
Gakuden Oiwake used to be a thriving post town at the spot where the Kisokaido Highway and Inuyamakaido Highway diverge. According to tradition, Kanzeon Bosatsu, Jizo, and Kobo Daishi were enshrined at this three-way junction from 1688 to 1735. There is a church here today, and a signpost on the premises is the only surviving reminder of former times.
