Spot

Surusumi, a beloved horse belonging to Kajiwara Kagetoki, a vassal of Minamoto no Yoritomo, is enshrined at this mound. It is located in a park on the north side of the ruins of Haguro Castle, where the Kajiwara family was based.
Today, the mound is covered with Simon bamboo and has been made into a public park. The “Osuminokata” gravestone and the “Surusumiuma” monument stand on top of the mound.
