Traditional Performing
This is a folktale about a peasant named Chuzo who lived in Kurisu and was talented at making socks.
Chuzo grew famous in Inuyama for his sock-making. However, only limited profit could be made selling socks in Inuyama alone, so he made the momentous decision to go to the city of Edo to sell socks, and he was able to earn a large sum of money.
In the neighborhood of Kurisukusano, there is a fine stone wall that is said to have been built with the money Chuzo earned.
