This magnificently scenic spot on the northern edge of Inuyama is in the middle of Mt. Seiryu, with Inuyama Castle to the west, the clear Kiso River to the north, and the Nobi Plain to the south, with a panoramic view of Mt. Ibuki’s Senjinmine Ridge off in the distance looking westward. Ryosai-ji Temple’s Zentei Garden (Unkokutei Garden) is a famous garden in a quiet area with clean air, unchanged over the past 550 years, with spring blossoms, fall leaves, and tranquility that soothes the soul. It exists in a splendid balance with Dokuzatei Garden, a newly built rock garden.
