Shiro to Machi (Castle and Town) Museum
Museum/Public Facility
The Inuyama Artifacts Museum — known by the nickname “Shiro to Machi (Castle and Town) Museum” — has opened.
The museum is focused on the community development activities of Inuyama residents who value their traditional heritage, and it serves as a central facility for visitors to get information on the castle town.
The Inuyamajo Hakutei Bunko Foundation was established in 2004. In addition to permanent exhibits that include numerous historical documents and traditional works of art that used to belong to the Naruse clan that governed Inuyama Castle, the museum also hosts special exhibits in the spring and fall.
