Ozeki Family Residence
Architecture
Construction date: 1843
Designation: National registered cultural property (building)
Comment: The Ozeki family residence was the home of the Ozeki family, the potters who restored Inuyama ware. The main house and storehouse are national registered cultural properties. The main house is a two-story building with the main entrance on the side parallel to the roof ridge — traditional architecture which, along with the gabled sangawara-buki (clay tile) roof, preserves the appearance of the Edo period.
