Comment: Komori Shrine, which had been in the Kurisu district since ancient times, was relocated to its present spot in 1930, where it was established as Momotaro Shrine, a shrine associated with the Legend of Momotaro. The shrine precincts feature an array of concrete statues associated with the Legend of Momotaro, made by Shoun Asano. The Momotaro Festival, a festival to pray for good health, takes place each year on May 5.
