Kurisu Shrine
Architecture
Kurisu Shrine is at the foot of Mt. Momoyama, about 1 km east of Momotaro Shrine. The mountain deity “Yamagami” and a stone circle are located nearby. It was originally located at the Senogami ruins.
The enshrined deity is Umashimaji-no-Mikoto.
A 1979 survey resulted in the excavation of the stone foundation of Kurisu Shrine from the Senogami ruins. A stone with the name of Kurisu Shrine engraved on it stands at the ruins.
